Juicy Jones is a great place to go for healthy, wholesome comfort food at a very reasonable price. This vegan restaurant has a fixed price menu available all day long, with no price change in the evening which is a refreshing change.  The first course normally consists of a salad or a soup and the main course, either a dish of the day (such as a pasta, rice or polenta based dish) or vegetable thali (which is a selection of Indian-spiced vegetable, rice and pulses in small dishes. The dessert also varies very little and is usually a soya based yoghurt called kulfi, a cookie, a cake or a lemon flavoured soya dessert, all vegan believe it or not.

The restaurant has a bar that serves a wide variety of freshly made juices. The downstairs is home to the restaurant whose décor is quite a shock to the senses. The walls are daubed with rather uninspired psychedelic, fluorescent murals in windowless cave. The lack of natural light provides a cosy feel in winter and the cavern is cool in summer. 

The restaurant staff are young, hippy and down-to-earth. The atmosphere is very laid back, perhaps a bit too much so, as the service can sometimes be a bit slow.

To surmise, the place always serves a good quantity and a good quality of food. You will leave feeling pleasantly full and healthy.
